Members of RASA and students in Dr. K’s intermediate Russian class participated in the Yevgeny Yevtushenko Poetry Contest of the Central Association of Russian Teachers of America this past Saturday. Katherine Lapitskiy, Sophia Bloom, and Cameron Brewer recited: Страхи,

Бородино respectively.

Sophia Bloom received special recognition for the reciting a poem of such difficulty, Страхи.
